Bajibot partnered with Yahoo! Creative Studio (formerly Ryot New York) to create a simple but engaging AR game with zero barriers of entry for anyone with a smartphone to launch. To promote awareness of the new McDonald’s Canada MyRewards App, the game challenges players to launch eight 3D McDonald’s items into their space using web AR technology (using the 8thWall engine) and find all eight AR items within 30 seconds to win!
All users were driven from Yahoo’s US and Canada media outlets to the landing page designed by Bajibot. From there, a simple tap launches the AR mobile game. If the user is on a desktop browser, they simply scan a QRC using their phone to launch. The game can be played in both English and Canadian French. At the completion of the game, users can download the McDonald’ s MyRewards Canada App to redeem free points to put towards McDonald’s purchases.
